FlowerExplosion.com is the result of a combined worldwide effort between Flower Explosion LLC, more than 10 farms in Ecuador, and an alliance with FedEx and other Ecuadorian logistics companies. Together, we’ve become a team of experts that makes sure that every day you receive fresh, farm-direct flowers without hassle and at a great price.

How do we accomplish this?

The traditional way to export flowers works in this way: First, an Ecuadorian farm transports hundreds of boxes of flowers to the airport so they can be exported to another country (e.g., the United States). Next, the flowers arrive at customs in the US, where a broker receives them and stores them at a nearby warehouse. Later, an American flower wholesaler picks up the boxes and takes them to a wholesale market and other, minor markets where many retailers are waiting. Finally, the retailer sells the flowers to florists, brides, and other final consumers. The result is an expensive flower that lacks freshness.

At Flower Explosion, we do it differently. When we say farm-direct, we literally mean that your flowers are cut and packed at our farms and shipped straight to your door. We avoid unnecessary steps and unnecessary delays. Therefore we can provide you with a wide array of premium-class flower varieties that will still be fresh when you receive them.

Our Flowers and Farms

FlowerExplosion.com offers more than 100 varieties of flowers and roses - from classic red roses to novelty colorful roses. All are naturally grown and certified for export since each of our farms complies with the highest quality control standards and growing procedures.

The majority of the farms are located in the Cotopaxi province, which is two hours south of Ecuador’s capital, Quito. Quito’s high altitude is ideal for flowers to flourish, as there is a plethora of sunlight, yet moderate temperatures. This perfect cultivating location, combined with the refined agricultural technology of our farms, produces the world’s most exquisite flowers.
